Their menu offers fresh, local, and seasonal foods with a rotating menu, and truly unique and passionately crafted concoctions. Some items on their menu include a Cheese and Pickle plate with pickled seasonal vegetables, Miyoko’s Kitchen and Treeline nut cheese, homemade crackers, and local jam, a decadent Mac and Cheese Casserole, Lavender Sumac Lemonade, and a Tofu, Miso Breakfast Soup. The Commissary is also highly renowned for their Tuesday night Ramen specials featuring vegan soft-boiled eggs. Their menu offers a plethora of vegan options such as their Samosas, Mixed Veggie Pakoras, Vegetable and Chickpea Dumplings in a Tomato/Cashew Sauce, as well as a Curry dish. Lagusta’s Luscious, created by the same brilliant chef who runs The Commissary, is your one-stop shop for all things rich and decadent. To give you an idea of the magic that is being crafted here, some of their desserts include Fig and Caramelized Fennel Semi-sweet Chocolate Bark, Rosemary Sea Salt Caramels, an Earl Grey and Preserved Orange Bar, Tahini-filled Chocolates, and Strawberry Balsamic Caramels. Not only are these chocolates absolutely gorgeous and crafted with love, but the flavor profiles are astounding. The amazing thing about this restaurant is that their menu is highly customizable, and almost every dish can be made vegan. Some of these dishes include Vegetable Pakoras with a sweet chili sauce, a Vegan Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado Sandwich, Lentil Dal, and Protein Burritos. They even serve breakfast and can make alterations to their pancakes and waffles so that they are suitable for vegans! There is truly something for everyone at this restaurant, but if eating at home is your thing, feel free to try this Simple Lentil Dal, or this Cauliflower Pakoras.
