Newly opened in Sheung Wan, Confusion serves up homemade and hearty plant-based meals, pleasing both vegans and meat-eaters alike. This restaurant is perfect for quick and healthy lunches, as the menu is packed with dishes like wraps, burgers, Indian platters, spring rolls and a 1,000 layer tofu dish. Kind Kitchen, located in Central Hong Kong, is a full-service cafe, serving 100% vegan food and drinks. Mirror & Vegan Concept surprisingly has vegan Italian food located in the center of Hong Kong. This relaxed, local spot is perfect for heavy comfort food and happily full stomachs. With menu items like pesto pasta, mushroom soup, white truffle risotto and a tomato and ‘cheese’ platter, it’s easy to see why this place eases cravings. CS Vegan is a budget-friendly, all you can eat buffet. It’s run as a non-profit and has a unique, welcome-home feel as soon as you enter. If you’re looking for tasty, vegan food that you can fill up on, this is the place for you. At the buffet, you’ll find every plant-based Chinese option out there. Grassroots Pantry is a hard-to-come-by upscale vegan restaurant that offers refined, tasty dishes. The menu is nearly 100% vegan, and all dishes are labeled when Buddhist. Besides a fun happy hour, they also have quick breakfasts, light dinners, and set lunches. Their menu also includes acai berry cacao bowls, scrambled tofu, mung beans soup, Hunan dumplings, pulled jackfruit nachos and other globally inspired vegan meals. For traditionally vegan bites, come to FruitDay. They have healthy smoothies, cold-pressed juices, fresh salads and on-the-go bites. Their salads rotate weekly and come with your choice of fruit tea or a soup of the day option. There’s also a selection of seasonal combinations to choose from. Thai Vegetarian Food is a Thai Buddhist restaurant, offering up plant-based dishes with no leeks, garlic, shallots or onions.
