Burritos and fajitas, both with ties to Mexican cuisine, are fun foods to prepare and devour. They are very versatile, and you can make them just how you like them. All you need are some tortillas, veggies, beans, and a few favorite toppings.

Technically, burritos are made by filling a large flour tortilla with vegetables and beans along with other goodies, such as rice, crisp lettuce, creamy guacamole, and hot sauce. Fajitas, on the other hand, are often served with tortillas on the side and sizzling hot grilled veggies on a separate plate. Your beans might come in a little bowl along with other toppings, such as ‘sour cream‘.  Then, you compile the whole delicious mess yourself. Don’t forget your fajita seasoning.

Take a look at some of these inspirational recipes for ideas on how to use tortillas to make a Mexican-style feast.
