Vegan meet-up groups are a great way to get to know other vegans in your area and to learn more about a plant-based diet. Many cities have vegan meet-up groups that hold monthly or weekly potlucks, host book readings, host inspirational vegan speakers, and more! Check out these 10 vegan meet-up groups in major cities in the United States!

If you are located in the New York City area, check out the New York City Vegetarian and Vegan Meetup. The group is for those who love trying new vegetarian and vegan restaurants and for people who want to be in the company of other vegans and vegetarians. The groups goal is to bring people with similar views together, while exploring some of the best plant-based cuisine in one of the most vegan-friendly cities! Past meet-up events have included Vegan Dinner at Beyond Sushi, Vegan Dine n’ Wine at Double Zero Pizza, and more. The next event will be held on February 26th at 6:30 PM EST, and will be a Veg Night Out, including drinks and conversation at Ascent Lounge in the Time Warner Center.

The group holds potlucks, has fancy dinners, and also has meet-ups at local veg-friendly restaurants. Past meet-ups include Macrobiotic Vegan Community Dinner, Food Not Bombs Planning Meeting, and a Boston Vegetarian Society Valentine’s Day Dinner!
