Each episode explores different topics and features conversations with experts about the impacts of climate change and how we can address them with racial justice in mind. The premiere episode of season four will feature hip-hop artist HeadKrack and discusses the connections between hip-hop and social movements.

“The Coolest Show is both a safe space and hub for creative, community-driven solutions to address the climate crisis,” said host Rev. Yearwood. “We want people to break out of a simple fear or hope dichotomy when it comes to the climate crisis and get in touch with the ways in which this crisis touches every part of our lives, our politics, our society, and our ecology. In this way, there is great opportunity for systemic change.”

The podcast already has over 100 episodes across the previous three seasons and has reached more than 160,000 listeners. They won the W3 Gold Award for Public Service and Activism and the W3 Gold Community Award in 2020.
