Hummus is a sure-fire favorite among those that like to dip. It is traditionally a Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dish made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, and salt. However, people have gotten pretty creative these days. Either way, it is tasty, creamy, and ideal for spreading on pittas or for dipping chips into.
Hummus is also a really healthy option with chickpeas beings packed with nutrients and protein. They are rich in folate, iron, phosphorus, copper, and manganese. The added tahini also provides you with essential vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, and some good fat.
