Let’s face facts, pugs always look just a little bit stunned. It’s hard to find an example in the animal world of a creature more capable of expressing shock, excitement or horror than these little wide-eyed wonders.
Which got us thinking about the reactions they would have if there was suddenly a pug uprising and they inherited the earth and all of its problems along with it. Not that the earth is some horror filled cesspool; far from it. There are some pretty wonderful things on this little blue dot of ours that kinda rock (pugs come to mind) and deserve protection and conservation.
Seen through the highly expressive and cartoonishly bulgy eyes of pugs, the crazy things that we need to stop doing in order to protect our planet and its inhabitants seem pretty obvious. Now, if only we could come up with a way to get pugs on the ballot…
