From opening doors to getting themselves water and learning commands, these smart cows are more than just dairy producers. They may not be listed as one of the smartest species but that doesn’t mean these cows aren’t intelligent.
The video compilation below features some pretty cool cows doing some pretty awesome things and all on their own. It’s not always about what they’re doing that’s impressive, but how they’re doing it.
The video also sheds light on an intelligence of cows that doesn’t necessarily show when they’re strapped into pens on dairy farms, or packed into crowded slaughter ranches. The video illuminates the personality of these animals that goes deeper than their industrial production value.
Besides the horrors of reality for most cows in the world, these cows’ smart antics are pretty funny and entertaining. After all, how many times have you seen a cow use its horns to turn a faucet for a drink of water?
