These days, over-the-top culinary creations are all the rage. What could be considered a gastronomic monstrosity to some is revered and sought after by others — take Burger King’s Mac n’ Cheetos as a prime example.
Many people still mistakenly conflate plant-based diets with immaculate health. While plant-based eating has the potential to be a wholly nutritious diet — at the very least it’s better for you than a diet revolving around meat — there’s nothing stopping vegan food from going from simple and tasty to outrageously indulgent and decadent.
Take this new creation by the London pie champions, Young Vegans, a business already known for serving massive, oversized, and super comforting vegan pies, but now they’re upping the ante with their all-new vegan cheeseburger pie. Yup. Let that sink in.

Joining the ranks of the Bae-Cone, the new cheeseburger pie is exactly what it sounds like — a double-patty vegan cheeseburger stuffed inside a vegan pie, served up with warm and melty vegan cheese, and a pinch of chili tomato chutney and pickles to add some acidity and brightness to the dish.
“We are currently quite obsessed with combining food concepts and the cheeseburger pie is a great example of this,” Marco Casadei, a co-founder of Young Vegans, told Metro.
“This pie takes a lot of inspiration from rock and roll culture and excess and is by far the most calorific junk food we have ever created. Elvis would be proud.”

This is fantastic served with a green salad dressed with our lemon and cumin vinaigrette.
