When the New York Knicks won their first NBA championship in 53 years, Marie Marsielle and her Los Angeles family celebrated joyfully, their two year old Saint Bernard mix Jameson even wearing a blue and orange Knicks shirt. A neighbor called police over concerns about the noise. What followed was devastating. Approximately 14 officers allegedly responded, and one shot and killed Jameson as he stood beside his owner at her apartment door.
