If you are craving something a little more substantial than a piece of fruit between meals, snack bars make a great choice.  They are often filled with really healthful ingredients that can combat hunger pangs throughout the day and stave off sugar cravings.

There are lots of choices for granola bars and snack bars at the supermarkets, but it is much healthier to make your own at home.  It’s a good job that they are really easy to make. A bonus is that this way, it cuts down on the endless individual wrappers.

Snack bars can be filled with all kinds of yummy seeds, nuts, and grains that make them wonderful on-the-go protein and energy boosters.
