This woman and her dog were enjoying their daily walk when all of a sudden, her Dachshund started pulling her over to a nearby storm drain.

After taking a closer look, they began to hear little cries coming from inside the drain and discovered a tiny puppy down there. The little guy probably fell in and got separated from mom. Without a way out, this little one was subject to drowning if it were to rain!

Without hesitation, they immediately tried to pull the puppy out, but he was just out of reach, so they called the professionals for backup. While 911 was on its way, a gentleman saw the commotion and kindly pulled over his car on the side of the road to offer his help.

He pulled open the storm drain to get a better look, and the puppy was right there in full view.

Thankfully, this animal-loving gentleman stepped up to the plate and took it upon himself to open the drain and rescue the puppy long before anything bad could happen.

“The puppy is safe and didn’t seem to have any injuries. There was no ID tag. The rescuer said he will take care of the puppy and will bring it to the vet for us. He chose to stay anonymous and left with the puppy,” said trangnthings.
