Unfortunately for street dogs, getting caught up in some “hairy” situations is quite a common occurrence. Animal Aid Unlimited once responded to a call about a dog who got himself tangled in a soccer net. The villagers were wary of dogs, so they did the next best thing by calling for help.
When the rescuers arrived on the scene, the poor dog was literally wrapped up from head to toe in the net. The rescuers carefully cut the net and pulled the dog free, and his tail wagged happily the whole time. He was such a good boy, he even got rewarded with a few treats!
The next step for this handsome dog was getting him back to the Animal Aid Unlimited facility to get cleaned up. There, caretakers treated him for mange, dressed his wounds, and of course, showered him with love.
The volunteers at Animal Aid are the epitome of selflessness and compassion, but the lifesaving work they do each and every day wouldn’t be possible without donations from animal lovers like you. If you get the warm fuzzies inside from watching rescues like these, please consider donating to help rescue and spay and neuter innocent street dogs in India.

I love all animals. When I see them I see me. They aren’t any different from us humans. I am a nurse and their similarities are the same. Thank you. 🐶🐱🐶🐱🐕🙏🙋♀️
