Ingredients You Need for Salted Caramel Peanut Chocolate Bars [Vegan]

For the Bars:
  • 10 Medjool Dates, soaked for 10 minutes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • A handful of roasted peanuts

For the Chocolate Glaze:

How to Prepare Salted Caramel Peanut Chocolate Bars [Vegan]

  1. Soak the dates for 10 minutes in hot water.
  2. Blend all other ingredients in a food processor until you have a smooth, sticky paste.
  3. Spread the paste into parchment paper-lined baking dish using your fingers or a spoon.
  4. Top the paste with the roasted peanuts.
  5. Let it set in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Once set, cut the paste into bars, add more peanuts (optional), and sprinkle with more sea salt.
  7. To make the chocolate glaze, melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil in a double boiler on low heat.
  8. Stir chocolate constantly until melted and add the vanilla extract.
  9. Pour the glaze over the bars. Once they have cooled and the chocolate has dried, store the bars in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
