Tabitha Brown has announced that she will be the host of It’s CompliPlated, which will be Food Network’s first vegan cooking show.

According to a press release, It’s CompliPlated will feature chefs attempting to make the same plant-based plate of food for a picky panel of judges.

“Hosted by New York Times bestselling-author, actress, vegan foodie and inaugural Food Network Hot List designee, Tabitha Brown, this series is for all the home cooks out there who are looking for ways to make the delicious dishes we all love, while accommodating all the different diets, food allergies and tastes in their household.”

Chopped judge and Tournament of Champions II winner Maneet Chauhan will be there each week as the chefs try to make the best, universal meal for the judges to walk away with a whopping $10,000!

Brown, also known as the Vegan Star of TikTok, went viral in 2017 and has been a leader in the vegan world ever since. She released her memoir, Feeding the Soul (Because It’s My Business), which landed on the best-selling list and was the No. 1 New York Times bestseller. Brown also opened her first vegan restaurant called Kale My Name, with locations in Los Angeles and Chicago.

“Becoming vegan changed my life and the way I cook – and I know folks can relate to the daily challenge of making the whole family happy with one meal, so we decided to make a game of it,” said Tabitha Brown. “These chefs cook from the heart and their food is mind-blowing – viewers are sure to have a blast and be inspired for their next family dinner.”

It’s CompliPlated will start Thursday, August 11th at 10/9c. For more information, check out Food Network.

“This show is about to change the way we all see food!! It’s for everyone and I can’t wait to take you all on the journey with me starting August 11th!!! 🎉,” said Brown.
