Boursin is trying its hand at creating more vegan cheeses to introduce to the vegan cheese market. As it has released a vegan garlic & herbs alternative spread.
It is to be released in Sainsbury’s exclusively in December and will be in other retailers in February.
The garlic and herb spread is a recreation of their original spread. Still having that bright and flavorful taste without the dairy.
Boursin senior brand manager Célina Leroyer said, “Boursin Plant-Based delivers the delicious Boursin-inspired taste consumers know and love, without compromising on indulgence and delicious flavor.”
The spread is made from sunflower oil to give it that traditional creaminess.
The brand hopes to create a specifically plant-based line of products for its vegan customers. Catering to the current demand for more plant-based options in stores.
Vegan cheese is always in demand, and this option provides yet another product that vegans can enjoy. As well as anyone who is curious about vegan cheese.
