Puppies Rescued From the Side of a Busy Road After Being Heartlessly Dumped

When the Fresno Humane Animal Services got a call from the sheriff’s office about puppies that were dumped on the road, they rushed over to save them. The puppies were dumped on a busy road and @acoalcorn12 documented the rescue on TikTok. The dogs were sad, scared, and visibly malnourished. They were terrified and did not move at all.

“If you need help re-homing puppies PLEASE do not resort to dumping them,” the TikTok text read.

Luckily, the puppies were saved in time, and the team was able to get there and find all of the puppies that were carelessly dumped on the side of the road.

The Tiktok was captioned,

“DUMPING ANIMALS IS ILLEGAL. Please if you know an animal in need reach out to your local shelter.”

According to national estimates, approximately 6.3 million companion animals are abandoned and enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. In the US alone over 5.4 million cats are killed on the side of the road. If you happen to notice an animal on the side of the road, whether or not the animal is injured, safely put on the hazard lights and pull your car completely off the road before attempting to rescue them, says the Humane Society.
