In these photos by Sutanta Aditya, we bear witness to the shameful destruction of the world’s orangutan capital, the Leuser Ecosystem in Sumatra. Sadly, orangutans are the innocent victims of high consumer demand for palm oil and the products that use it.
It’s time we take a stand once and for all. We can all make changes in our daily life to combat the cruel realities of the palm oil industry. By reducing or eliminating palm oil from our diets and refusing personal care items containing palm oil, we have the potential to save the life of this poor orangutan.
