Climate protesters were arrested after they blocked a major bridge in London.

After nine Insulate Britain activists were jailed, the protestors decided to march onto the London bridge and sit-down protest, blocking the bridge’s entrances as well as traffic.

The protest involved up to 250 protesters, and police later made 30 arrests against the protest.

All of these arrests have come after several sit-down protests have been held by climate protesters. They have blocked several major bridges in London, causing traffic disruption.

All arrests were made because of a breach of law that prohibits protests to block high traffic areas, especially during rush hour time periods.

All nine protesters were sentenced for breaking this law, while we have yet to hear any news about the other 30 arrested protesters.

Many of these protesters traveled to London to join the protests as they are outraged and fearful of what is happening with the climate. Many know that they are risking jail time as they join the protests but do so anyway.

With so few politicians listening to the outcry about the future planet, it has come to citizens to take matters into their own hands and get the UK’s attention.
