Abandoned Baby Saved by Stray Dog

A newborn baby girl was miraculously rescued by a stray dog after being left in a garbage bag near the town hall in Lebanon’s northern city of Tripoli. On a fateful day in Tripoli, a stray dog stumbled upon a garbage bag that contained the newborn baby girl. Sensing the urgency, the canine companion started dragging the bag, leading to a passer-by hearing the faint cries of the abandoned infant. Acting swiftly, the person rushed to the scene and discovered the fragile baby inside the bag, seemingly destined to be left to the mercy of wild animals. Thanks to the dog’s intervention, the baby’s life was saved.

The rescued baby was promptly taken to the Islamic Hospital and later transferred to the Tripoli Government Hospital for medical attention. Despite her serious condition, the child’s resilience amazed the medical staff, who described her survival as nothing short of a miracle. Images of the baby with bruises and cuts from the ordeal have been shared online, but she is reported to be recovering well.

The heartless act of abandoning an innocent child has provoked strong reactions across Lebanon. Many have expressed their outrage and condemnation, with some social media users stating that the dog displayed more humanity, kindness, and intelligence than the parents responsible for the cruel act.
