A woman in Palm Coast, Florida was arrested after authorities allegedly discovered 51 severely emaciated dogs living in filth inside her home. The residence was reportedly covered in waste, rotting food, and cockroaches. The dogs suffered from mange, flea infestations, missing fur, and dangerously overgrown nails. One chihuahua, just one year old, weighed only 1.5 pounds. Some animals required surgery to survive.

Authorities say she initially surrendered 48 dogs without disclosing three others still inside. When investigators returned with a warrant, she allegedly attempted to remove them from the property. She had reportedly known at least one dog was critically ill yet sought no veterinary care. Animals deserve protection from this kind of neglect. Please take a moment to add your name and share the petition now with anyone who believes animals deserve better. Florida must enforce a permanent ownership ban. Support this cause at the petition now before more animals suffer.
