This orphaned orangutan, named Joss, was kept as a pet for years in terrible conditions. In the video above, you can see that she developed extremely abnormal as a result of her abuse.

3. Baby Orangutan Held Captive

A frightened, dirty baby orangutan was being held captive by locals and used for entertainment. It was not until a rescue organization stepped in that he was about to be revived.

4. Bobby Berosini Abusing Orangutans

A hidden camera was used backstage at the Stardust Hotel and Casino to record headliner Bobby Berosini. This video cemented proof of abuse after news of animal abuse leaked but there was no evidence.

5. Smuggled Orangutans

Poachers kidnapped three baby orangutans and stuffed them into a tiny cage. Though their fate was clear, they likely would have ended up as someone’s illegal pet.
