In more grim statistics about the continued rise of coronavirus cases in the United States, almost one in 100 Americans have tested positive for the coronavirus. 35 states are also seeing their case count increase, including the highest increase in a single day record, 15,300 new cases counted in Florida.
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said of the situation in Florida, “We’re going to have to start moving regular beds into ICU beds. We’re clearly being strained at this point. There’s a total disconnect between what is happening and being said out of Washington and even Tallahassee and what is happening in some of these communities right here.” Disney World reopened over the weekend in Orange County, Florida, where over 540 patients were in hospitals with the virus.
Patterns across the United States show that many cases are caused by “community spread,” where citizens have ignored social distancing mandates and have resumed activities like parties or going to bars. In Louisiana, a third of the coronavirus cases involved people younger than 29, and 99% of the cases were caused by “community spread.”
36 states now have mandatory mask requirements in place and half of the states’ have paused or rolled back reopening plans to help stop the spread.
The World Health Organization reported the highest daily number of cases on July 12, with 230,370 new cases around the globe. In the United States, 3.3 million people have tested positive for the coronavirus, and at least 135, 205 Americans have died.

Scientists believe that the spread of COVID-19, or coronavirus, started at an exotic animal market in Wuhan, China. You can help stop the incidence of viruses like these by signing this petition to ban the wildlife trade.

Dairy consumption also has been linked to many health problems, including acne, hormonal imbalance, cancer, prostate cancer and has many side effects.
