In El Paso, Texas, a man cooperated fully with U.S. Border Patrol agents who arrived at his home following an allegedly false tip about undocumented immigrants. Despite his compliance — and after warning them he would safely lock his dog, Chop, in the bathroom — agents reportedly opened the door and shot the Rottweiler dead. Chop died in his owner’s arms after nearly an hour of suffering.
This senseless act demands justice. The agents allegedly responsible must be fired and charged with animal cruelty. No federal authority should be above the law or allowed to take an innocent animal’s life without consequence. Chop’s death highlights a disturbing lack of accountability that cannot be ignored.
Sign the petition now to urge the U.S. Border Patrol to conduct a full investigation and ensure those involved face legal consequences for this horrific act.
