Killer Whale in Captivity at Marineland, Antibes, France

Mexico has just made history by banning the use of marine mammals for entertainment. Dolphins, orcas, sea lions, and other intelligent animals will no longer be forced into tanks, circus-style tricks, or breeding programs. Instead, they will be moved to sea pens, where they can finally live in dignity. Canada has already taken this step, and now it’s time for the United States to act.

Right now, the U.S. still allows marine parks and aquariums to profit from keeping these animals in captivity. That means whales and dolphins are allegedly still ripped from their families or bred into lifetimes of confinement—all for ticket sales. This must end. If our neighbors can pass compassionate, forward-thinking laws, so can we.

Sign the petition now and urge Congress to ban marine mammal captivity. Sign today—help end this cruel industry.
