Petition: Ban Alleged Abuser from Ever Owning Animals Again

Seven dogs were allegedly found in one of the worst neglect cases Pennsylvania humane officers have seen. Trapped inside a sweltering, filthy camper in Oakdale, they were surrounded by rotting food, trash, and six to eight inches of feces. Some were only six months old, all underweight, dehydrated, and left without proper care for months.

The man responsible now faces more than 50 counts of animal cruelty. No one who treats animals this way should ever have the chance to harm them again. Authorities say the dogs are now safe in a Pittsburgh rescue, receiving medical care and learning to trust humans again — but justice must go beyond rescue.
