Ingredients You Need for Matcha Peppermint Chocolate [Vegan]

1/2 cup cacao butter, melted 1/2 cup coconut butter, melted 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon matcha powder (or to taste) 5 drops of peppermint essential oil (or to taste) pinch of vanilla powder or a drop of vanilla essence (optional)

How to Prepare Matcha Peppermint Chocolate [Vegan]

  1. Melt cacao butter and coconut butter in a pot, using a double boiler.
  2. Gently stir in the maple syrup.
  3. Add vanilla, matcha powder and peppermint oil. Start with smaller amounts of matcha and peppermint and adjust to taste.
  4. Mix all the ingredients until well combined. Carefully pour the matcha peppermint chocolate in desired chocolate molds and pop in the freezer to set. Enjoy!

  1. I am an ITEC qualified aromatherapist. I absolutely advice NOT to use essential oils in cooking. Why not use the correspondent herbs instead? Essential oils are much too concentrated for alimentary purposes
