How to Prepare Marbled Beet Spelt and Buckwheat Bread [Vegan]
- In a large bowl, whisk the flour and yeast with salt.
- Add the beet into a powerful blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If it’s not smooth and 2-3 teaspoons water.
- Now, divide the dough into two pieces and combine the "normal" one with water and the other mixture with beet purée, until it comes together.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly greased bowl. Cover the bowls tightly with a cling wrap and place it in a warm area. Let rise until doubled in size – about 1 1/2-2 hours.
- Afterward, sprinkle the work area generously with flour and knead the dough for 10 minutes.
