I think we can all agree that caramel is extremely delicious. I’ve heard that dates can make a great caramel replacement. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but surprisingly it was delicious!!

Healthy Date Caramel [Vegan]

  • 15 dates (give or take about 5 dates for consistency)
  • 6 tablespoons almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend. If the mixture is too thick, add water 1 TBL at a time. If the mixture is too thin, and a couple of dates at a time. Chill for 30 minutes after blending to thicken up.
