  • 3 1/3 cups trimmed green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Steam or boil green beans for 5-6 minutes or until your preferred tenderness (this recipe used a bamboo steamer).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together oil, mustard, zest and juice of lemon, garlic and salt and pepper. Pour over green beans.
