    Ingredients You Need for Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Baked Beans [Vegan]

    Baked Beans:

    • 2 cups canned pinto beans (or any bean that you would like to use)
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 cups water
    • 3 tablespoons ketchup
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    • 1 tablespoon gluten-free flour

    How to Prepare Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Baked Beans [Vegan]

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F, then wash the potatoes. Line them on a baking sheet and cook for 45 minutes to an hour depending on the oven. Prepare the garlic butter, and set aside.
    2. Drain and rinse the beans and set aside, then add the water to a medium saucepan. Once boiling, add the rest of the ingredients (except for the beans and garlic) ending with the flour and whisk everything together until sauce thickens.
    3. Add the garlic and the beans to this sauce mixture and simmer on low, about five minutes. Once the potatoes have finished cooking, smash them with a fork and drizzle with the garlic butter, and top with the baked beans. Enjoy!
