Refreshing frozen strawberry cashew yogurt with an amazing hazelnut raisin crust makes for one great summer treat. They are super easy to make and even easier to eat it all! Enjoy these bars for a sweet and cold breakfast, a midday treat, or as a dessert.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Bars [Vegan, Grain-Free]

Cooking Time



For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt

For the Yogurt Layer:

  • 2 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup raw cashews (preferably soaked in water for at least 4 hours)
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Put all the crust ingredients in a food processor and grind until it forms into a sticky dough.
  2. Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and transfer into a mold or a pan lined with parchment paper.
  3. You may need to press with your fingers to set the crust and give it final shape. Set aside the crust.
  4. Put yogurt ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the pan and spread over the crust.
  6. Freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
  7. Thaw at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
