This year, Starbucks has been pushing forward in the vegan community, releasing new drinks, snacks, and ideas, among many other things. From vegan cookies, and premade lunch options, to cold brew beverages and a protein bowl that doesn’t consist of basic seasonal fruits. Now, they’ve released a new Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte.
The other option, which is a Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew made a hint of caramel and topped with salted cream cold foam. While Starbucks has introduced plenty of beverages with non-dairy milks, most of them are not classified as totally vegan because of their syrups.
Their website states, “Our new Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte is a refreshing, deeply delicious take on an old favorite. With smoky undertones, toasted coconut notes from Sumatran coconut milk and real vanilla bean pieces, the grande iced latte has 140 calories and no syrup. It’s a great way to break up the workday—why not go for a walk?”
Lucky for us, the new Iced Vanilla Bean Latte is not made with any syrups, perfect for Starbucks lovers looking for plant-based, healthy options. The Iced Vanilla Ben Coconutmilk Latte is made by pouring shots of espresso over iced vanilla bean coconut milk, as reported by Refinery 29. Although they’re here permanently, these drinks are perfect for walks through the city during the summer.
Way to go, again, Starbucks!
