Pizza Hut tested out the plant-based crumbles in response to the growing demand for plant-based alternatives. They had a very successful test run, and now they will be featured in three irresistible Beyond Meat® pizza dishes. This includes the Great Beyond pizza, an Italian pizza topped with veggies and the plant-based crumbles; the Beyond Italian Sausage™ Alfredo Loaded Flatbread; and the Beyond Creamy Alfredo. Beyond Italian Crumbles can also be added to other dishes upon request.

Amy Rozinsky, Head of Consumer Marketing, Pizza Hut Canada, said, “After seeing great excitement from Pizza Hut fans across Toronto and Edmonton last summer, we’re beyond thrilled to give Canadian fans everywhere the opportunity to try and fall in love with these Beyond Meat menu items. Pizza Hut and Beyond Meat have a shared vision to innovate new and exciting products that will delight our guests. Beyond Italian Sausage, Crumbles offer a delicious plant-based twist on our classic pork sausage that you’ll have to taste to believe.”
While these options are meatless, they do not seem to be suitable for vegans due to the dairy cheese and crust.
