On March 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Vice President Kamala Harris stopped into a vegan taco restaurant! She was joined by Aaron Ford, the Attorney General of Nevada, as well as other Biden Administration officials.
The Vice President introduced herself and chatted with the employees before heading out with a big bag of vegan tacos. The restaurant, TACOTARIAN, posted on Instagram about the visit:
“🙌Sooo this happened today! You never wake up in the morning and think I wonder if the Vice President of the US will stop in and grab tacos today. But today that actually happened! We were just sitting there and someone came up and said ‘hey I’m from the whitehouse and the Vice President is on her way here.’ 🤯🤯🤯”

According to the post, Vice President Harris went to TACOTARIAN on a recommendation from vegan Senator Cory Booker and is also supposedly “dabbling” in veganism before 6 pm! We’re so glad to hear about her vegan journey and wish her the best!
