IKEA continues to work towards a larger plant-based menu in their food courts and now some delicious gyozas will be joining the plant-based meatballs, veggie dogs, and soft serve on the vegan menu. That’s right, from May 15th to the 20th, IKEAs in Singapore will add plant-based gyozas to their growing vegan menu.

These new items will be following the success of the plant-based version of their Swedish meatballs, the Plant Ball, which is made from nutritious pea protein, oats, potatoes, onions, and apples.

According to TimeOut, IKEA says that the plant-based gyoza will be much healthier than the original gyoza, with 54 percent more protein and 22 percent less fat. IKEA’s goal is to make the menus at their stores 50 percent plant-based and reduce red meat dishes by 80 percent by 2025.

Since the release of the Plant Ball in 2015, IKEA has been working to introduce climate-friendly food options and cut its carbon footprint. Now, you can find plant-based hot dogs and vegan soft serve. The company has hinted that they’re not stopping the plant-based items anytime soon.

The new addition will be available for dine-in while supplies last. The company also hinted that plant-based nuggets and meatless curry puffs will be available in the coming months.
