Plant-based protein company Gardein has unveiled a brand new crop of plant-based single-serving meals, microwaveable, that can be ready in less than fifteen minutes. This move seems perfect for plant-based eaters on the go, providing high-quality fast meals for a busy schedule.
The company announced its four flavors: Italian Saus’age & Pasta Bowl, Chick’n Fajita Bowl: Orange Beefless Bowl, and the Teriyaki Chick’n Bowl.
The bowls feature the company’s signiture brand of nuggets, all manufactured from a diverse range of proteins and nutrients, along with vegetables and rice or pasta. Every bowl are made with 100% non-GMO ingredients.
In addition to the bowls, Gardein is also rolling out a suits of sausage alternatives which they have labeled “Breakfast Saus’age Patties,” which contain 6g of plant-based protein per serving and 75% less fat than a regular pork sausage.
But these meals aren’t aimed only and people in a plant-based diet. Boulder Brands director of marketing at Clint Mickel said: “Gardein makes food for everyone and every diet – vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian and anything in between.
“Regardless of your reason for going meatless, Gardein wants to make sure you don’t miss out on a single thing, and we are excited to expand our product offering with high-quality, great-tasting Single Serve Bowls that offer the same great texture and taste as real meat.”
The bowls and sausages will be available for purchase in stores across the United States over the coming months.
