Woman Threatens to Feed Cat to Coyotes if Shelter Didn’t Take Her

Someone brought a “feral cat” to a shelter and told them that if they did not take her, she would feed her to the coyotes.

“This sweet girl is not feral and was surely someone’s pet once,” @katrinaross_ said in her TikTok video.

Although she was underweight and appeared to have some parasites, the kitty was overall in good health. The shelter named her Merry for her cheerful spirit. The kitty was sweet and loved getting pets from all of the workers at the shelter. Now, Merry will wait at the Galveston Island Humane Society until she finds her true forever home.

Merry continued to prove that she was indeed not a feral cat, and she was very social and loveable. She quickly gained her strength back and was gaining body weight in the shelter. Although Merry had a sad life at the start, it’s never too late and she still deserves her happy ending.
