In this amazing rescue, Katie McKittrick with Hope For Paws responded to the call for help about a semi-feral cat who had a broken leg in a well-managed colony.

Once McKittrick safely secured Thomas with a drop-trap, she got him to CARES, and together with Dr. Antonio Pedraza and the medical team, they fixed up his leg. For 8 weeks while he was healing, they tried to tame him, but it became obvious that he was not interested. They decided to return him to his feral family and friends as he wished.
