The plant-based movement continues to shoot upwards and onwards, showing significant growth in recent years, with global demand for plant-based products up by 140 percent. To match consumer demand, supermarket shelves are being stocked with ever-growing inventory from plant-based brands. And now, vegan cheese brand, Violife, will be available at 451 Whole Foods markets across the U.S.!

Violife took to Instagram to announce the good news:

We cannot wait to top pasta dishes with their parmesan and stack their cheddar and smoked provolone slices onto a grilled cheese sandwich! Violife has many die-hard fans who create mouth-wateringly ooey-gooey snacks and meals with the brand’s products. To get some inspiration from them, give the Violife Instagram page a follow.

Don’t have a Whole Foods near you? Then visit the Violife website here to see where else you can get your hands on their plant-based goodness.

Industrialized animal agriculture is leading the destruction of our Earth, causing massive deforestation, species extinction, harmful air and water pollution that makes all life forms dangerously unhealthy, and contributes more to greenhouse gas emissions (particularly, methane) and Climate change than fossil fuel extractors like Shell and Exxon Mobil! Considering all this, brands like Violife are not only delicious, they are also helping to change our broken food system and move it toward a more sustainable, and more humane, future. And by bringing their products to such a large retailer, they are bringing even more plant-based options to more people and helping change consumer habits for the better.

  1. I have yet to try VioLife cheese yet I hope to this week. Those that are lactose intolerant must be thrilled that there are now so many vegan cheeses and plant-based dairy products. Helps with PIZZA and TACOS and SANDWICHES and even on VEGETABLES! A added change of TASTE without the cruelty.

  2. This is maybe the only choice in my home country (Bulgaria), they are greek brand and I like them a lot, glad they are expanding their distribution, maybe this will contribute to lower prices for everyone.
