We can never have too many plant-based restaurants, and now popular vegan burger joint Earth Burger, which has two locations in San Antonio, Texas, and has another restaurant in the works in San Marcos, Texas, is arriving at The Mall of America!
Earth Burger shared on their Facebook page: “It’s been a long road, but we never wavered from our original course of taking the huge leap from South Texas to Bloomington, Minnesota. #3 means a lot to our small company. The move is not only great in distance, but also in stage. The Mall of America is an international destination with over 40 million annual visitors! We’re proud to add another plant-based option to MOA and the residents of Minnesota! We hope you’ll join us on Monday, August 13th as we reach new heights on our plant-based journey!”
We love seeing a small plant-based business expanding in such a significant way. Although the malls of the 80s and 90s have largely been replaced by online shopping in the 21st Century, Earth Burger is right to point out that The Mall of America still remains somewhat of a tourist destination, and their presence there has the potential to influence people from around the world. Considering industrialized animal agriculture is causing mass deforestation, air and water pollution, the rise in antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and the extinction of species (flora and fauna), and of course, contributes greatly to climate change and is responsible for the needless suffering and exploitation of countless innocent animals, Earth Burger surely lives up to its name by being plant-based and doing its part to preserve our irreplaceable Earth.
