On his way home from work, Rico Soegiarto saw the Siberian Husky on the road with wounds all over her body and all of her fur missing. The 26-year-old already had four rescue pups at home, but he felt drawn to the homeless dog and knew he needed to save her.

He named her Hope because of her bright blue eyes that shined, despite her horrible condition. For months, Soegiarto worked hard to help Hope recover by giving her lots of food, medication, and baths.

Hope’s coat began to grow back, and she once again resembled a husky. In pictures shared by Soegiarto just 10 months after her rescue, she is completely transformed and living a happy life with her new family and other pup siblings.

It’s amazing to see such a transformation in Hope after she was neglected for so long. People like Soegiarto truly have amazing hearts and his kindness gave Hope a second chance at life!
