Man Buys Senior Dog Bed Rail After the Pup Fell Out of Bed

It’s always wonderful to hear about people going above and beyond to take care of their furry friends. Luis Miranda, an event planner in Florida, bought one of his senior dogs a bed rail to make sure that he doesn’t fall off the bed.

A TikTok posted by Miranda, @jluis_m, has gone viral on TikTok with him explaining that having a dog isn’t much different than having a kid. He went on to explain that he had to install a bed rail for his senior dog, Diesel because he fell off the bed once.

“And once is all it took, so no more falling off the bed,” Miranda said in the video.

The video of the 15-year-old Jack Russell terrier now has nearly 500,000 views, and Miranda told Newsweek that Diesel was not injured in the fall, but he got the rail to make sure that it didn’t happen again.

It’s not uncommon for senior dogs to experience mobility issues or difficulty getting around, and falls can be a risk for them. It’s great that this person recognized the need to make some adjustments to ensure their dog’s safety and comfort. Bed rails are a great solution for dogs who may have trouble getting in and out of bed or who are prone to falling during the night. They can provide a sense of security and stability, which can help dogs feel more comfortable and confident.
