3-Legged Homeless Dog Tried to Adopt Her Own Family by Camping Out in a Box [Video]

When kind-hearted people join together for a common cause, there are no limits to the good deeds that can be done.  This touching rescue story of a homeless little three-legged Chihuahua in Southern California proves just that.  Two wonderful hardworking rescues, Hope for Paws and Smooch Pooch Dog Rescue joined forces to save the life of this tiny little girl they named Princess.

Alone in the world and desperate for love and nourishment, Princess tried to adopt her own family by camping out in their yard in an old tattered cardboard box. Though these strangers were kind enough to feed her, Princess required much more to be safe and sound. Luckily for her, the compassionate Hope for Paws team stepped in to help.  As they looped a lucky leash around her delicate neck, there was a distinct glimmer of hope in her eyes.  She knew life on the streets was about to end forever. Once back at the Hope for Paws center, Princess got a bath and was ready to find her furever kingdom through Smooch Pooch Dog Rescue.

Rescues like Smooch Pooch and Hope for Paws do the noble work that many others turn a blind eye to. They save the most destitute and needy of animals, those who are abandoned, at the top of the list to be euthanized at high-kill shelters, and those in need of serious medical attention.
