The Ukrainian consulate in Naples said that their office received two letters containing fish eyes.
“It’s a very strong signal,” Maksym Kovalenko, the Ukrainian consul in Naples said.
Nikolenko said that the packages arrived after a package that contained an explosive device was sent to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid. That package ignited upon opening and injured an employee. That was just one of many explosive parcels found in Spain recently.

In addition, the residence of the Ukrainian ambassador to the Vatican was vandalized. Andrii Yurash said that the entrance to his residence in Rome was vandalized with what he believed to be animal feces. The door to and the stairs and walls in the entryway were “smeared with a dirty substance with an unpleasant smell,” he told The Associated Press.
“And also the diplomatic mission in Italy received some letters also with some very unpleasant stuff inside, I mean some animal eyes. I don’t know exactly but it looks like eyes from fish or some other animals,” Yurash said. “So it is hard to explain completely why, and what is the reason of this terrible message, but it is no doubt a systematic trend, a systematic attack on Ukrainian missions around Europe.”
In the Czech Republic, police reportedly found animal tissue inside a box that has since been submitted for laboratory tests.
So many innocent lives have been lost, countless volunteers are helping to rescue animals all over the country, and many people are staying behind to help feed hundreds of refugees every day. The impact of the Russian invasion has been devastating for the environment and the global food supply and has even caused mass animal deaths like these dolphins in the Black Sea. Activists all around the world are standing for the people of Ukraine and demanding an end to this war.
