When this baby lamb was rejected by her mother almost immediately after birth, a sweet dog named Max stepped into the role and formed a special bond with the lamb. Farmer Olivia Akers says that the two formed a special bong when Max heard her crying and was comforting her. He was licking her and comforting her in almost a way of saying that he would be her new mom.

“The second Max laid eyes on Beau, that was HER baby,” Akers said. Max then began to clean, play with, and protect the little lamb.

Every time that the lamb, Beau, sees Max, she gets the zoomies. She loves to run around the property with Max.

When Beau was big enough to be with the other sheep, she went to go graze with them, but she still found time to play with Max. Although she is bigger than Max now, they love spending time and playing around together.
