Being an animal lover means more than caring for your pet. While loving and cherishing a single animal is a wonderful thing, being an animal lover means extending that same care and compassion to all other sentient beings. Making the connection between our every day actions and the impact that they have on other living beings can be both empowering and also a little discouraging at times.
After all, once you make the connection between the adorable puppy you want to purchase from a pet shop and the deplorable conditions hundreds of dogs are forced to suffer through in puppy mills, suddenly your world view is a little different. But rather than letting these things get you down, it is important to remember that you have the power to make a difference. By choosing not to Support puppy mills and opting to adopt a puppy from a shelter instead you are helping to save lives and end cruelty. By sharing what you’ve learned you can inspire others to make choices that also help animals. And this is only a single example of how you can make a difference for animals all by making one informed choice.
As animal lovers, we understand how hard it can be to stay motivated sometimes in the face of all the cruelty and abuse in the world – but remember, animals don’t have a voice so if we don’t speak up for them, who will? To inspire you to keep being a rock star for all the animals in the world, read these 10 quotes and share with all the animal lovers you know!

Hi,
I passed by today, as many other days, and I was just wondering: How is it possible that the authors of such amazing words are not often vegans, or at least, vegetarians?
Since they all think animals should not be underneath us, why are they still eating them? I do not know the current or past status of all the quotes\’s authors about their diet nor life styles, but I do know some of them are nor were vegetarians, and I just wonder why hasn\’t the idea of becoming a more helpful source of help to animals by not eating them, which a lot of us know it is not as hard, crossed past their minds?
Thank you for your time, and for the quotes, which I had the pleasure to read out loud a couple times and completely agree with them.
My regards,
John.
