All Time Low is a veteran punk rock band that’s been around since the early 2000s. They have millions of dedicated fans and their latest video gives us a good indication of why they’re loved so dearly. The music video to their latest single “Sleeping In,” which debuted on Thursday, February 20th has a compassionate message of “Adopt, Don’t Shop!”

The band partnered with North Shore Animal League America (NSALA) for this video to raise money and awareness for no kill rescue and adoption organizations. The video was shot in Nashville, Tennessee at the NSALA shelter partner, MAAC.

In the video, the band members are each dealing with a break-up when they decide to adopt an animal from a shelter, because that’s the best possible companion one could ask for. In a nice twist, rather than just promoting the adoption of dogs and cats, one member adopts a goldfish and another adopts a pony. Of course, this is just meant to be adored and raise awareness. In reality, only people with sufficient space and experience should adopt an animal like a pony.

But along with sharing this video with their fans and having the lovely message at the end that encourages people to adopt instead of shop, they’re also urging fans to make donations to MAAC and NSALA.
