2020 is shaping up to be a good year for dogs in need of homes! Just recently, a stray dog randomly ran onto a soccer field in Mexico during the game. The team was so enamored they adopted her, named her Tunita, and made her one of their mascots. She’s now living the dream, enjoying life in her team jersey playing with soccer balls on the field. And more recently, the amazing news broke that singer and dancer Paula Abdul has adopted a special needs puppy!
Special needs dogs need a little extra love, so this pup is fortunate to be adopted by a star who can provide him with all the care he needs. Nemo is already living the dream. Abdul had him flown on a private plane and then picked up via limo to arrive at his new furever home.

The really amazing news is that he has some company and won’t be the only chihuahua in the house. Abdul is very familiar with the breed because she already has an older chihuahua named Bessie Moo who is now Nemo’s big sibling.

As Director of Pet Matchmaker Rescue Morgan Sokolow says in the video above, it’s very important for stars to promote the message of adopting rather than shopping for dogs. There are so many dogs in need of homes like Nemo who has a “special little fin” and walks on three legs. Sokolow also says about his new home: “He’s got the nice bed, big yard, fancy collars and you know he’s living it up down there, being spoiled and loved like any other normal dog.”
Looks like Nemo asked Abdul: “Straight up, now tell me, do you really want to love me forever?” and Abdul said, “Yes!”

Isn’t is great she adopted a puppy in her fur coat? Why would you spotlight this? Love animals but pay to have them killed for my looks.
