Ashley Tisdale Mourns Loss of Dog

On Wednesday, High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale, created a series of Instagram posts in memory of her family dog, Blondie.

The 17-year-old dog had a quiet passing and was given a loving tribute by the grieving star. As Ashley Tisdale posted, “I love you Blondie girl, thanks for bringing such joy to our family,” Tisdale wrote alongside an image of herself cuddling with her late pet. “I will miss you my little rocking horse, but I know Maui is with you, and that’s comforting. I love you.”

The celebrity also posted photos of her as a young girl holding the then puppy, and looked back at their many years together.

Tisdale went on to open up about the pain of losing a family pet, saying, “Today’s been a rough day, for sure. It’s always hard losing a pet, and we had so much time with Blondie. Can’t believe she was 17 years old. We’re so grateful for that.”

Tisdale commented on how hard it was to see her parents in pain as they also had to part with their beloved dog. 

This story highlights just how important our pets are to people and what a big part of our life they occupy.
